Director of Growth and Engagement, Economics Institute

About the role

The Mastercard Economics Institute (MEI) seeks a senior leader to shape and execute its growth and engagement agenda across North America. Reporting to the VP for Regional Growth and Engagement, you will partner with global heads and regional leads to translate economic insights into commercial opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the commercial growth strategy for MEI in North America.
• Design and lead an enterprise‑wide engagement framework that connects economists, data scientists and product teams with clients and partners.
• Coordinate consulting engagements, product development initiatives and research projects, ensuring proper scoping, staffing and delivery.
• Define and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for the Economics Intelligence segment, tailoring it to regional nuances.
• Drive operational efficiency and measurable outcomes for the Institute’s activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior growth, strategy or commercial leadership roles, preferably within the financial services or payments ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of the North American business environment and the ability to translate economic data into actionable business solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning internal teams and external partners.
