Director of External Communications

About the role

Acrisure is looking for a Director of External Communications to shape and amplify its brand narrative across global markets. Reporting to senior leadership, you will craft strategic messaging that supports business goals and enhances the company’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with executives to develop speeches, presentations, talking points, and thought‑leadership content.
• Manage media relations, securing earned media opportunities and drafting press releases, statements, and briefing documents.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging issues to protect and strengthen reputation.
• Lead crisis communication planning and response efforts.
• Oversee enterprise social‑media strategy, content creation, and performance analytics.
• Coordinate digital communications for corporate news, events, and executive visibility initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior‑level corporate communications or public relations.
• Exceptional storytelling ability and strong media‑relations expertise.
• Comfort working closely with C‑suite leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated capacity to translate complex business initiatives into clear, compelling messages.
