Director of Accounting

About the role

Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation is looking for a senior accounting leader to direct the corporate accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive process improvements across a global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all corporate accounting functions, including general ledger, consolidation, rebate accounting, and technical accounting.
• Manage and continuously improve monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Own the consolidation process, including elimination entries, foreign currency translation, and integration of international entities.
• Direct preparation of external financial statements and footnotes in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Establish, implement, and maintain accounting policies, monitor emerging standards, and lead adoption.
• Oversee technical accounting research, documentation, and development of white papers on complex transactions.
• Ensure strong internal controls, work with external auditors, and manage the annual audit process.
• Partner cross‑functionally to analyze results, support M&A integration, and advise senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with financial close processes, international consolidation, and external audit coordination.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and drive initiatives.
