Director, MSL Field Lead - Solid Tumor Oncology

About the role

Servier is seeking a Director to lead its Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) field team. The role oversees strategic planning, implementation, and execution of field medical plans for solid tumor oncology, partnering with Medical Directors, Operations, and global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of oncology MSLs, providing coaching, performance feedback, and talent development.
• Develop and align individual MSL territory plans with medical affairs goals and monitor KPI performance.
• Analyze field insights, emerging clinical trends, and regional data to inform strategy and reporting.
• Lead CRM system customization and serve as a super‑user for the oncology field team.
• Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and Servier policies in all field activities.
• Build and maintain collaborations with key opinion leaders, investigators, and external scientific communities.

Required profile

• Accredited doctorate (MD, PharmD, or PhD) in a life‑science discipline with oncology experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including product launch and MSL team management.
• Proven ability to lead in a matrix environment and influence cross‑functional partners.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business dynamics and travel up to 70% of the time.
