Director, Footwear Production

About the role

As Director of Footwear Production at Rothy’s, you will lead the end‑to‑end manufacturing of footwear and accessories, building scalable systems and high‑performing teams while partnering with brand, planning, sourcing and logistics functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day production operations across footwear and accessories, creating scalable processes.
• Partner with Brand, Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, Wholesale, Retail and Distribution to ensure smooth seasonal launches.
• Collaborate on demand forecasting, inventory planning and Open‑to‑Buy management.
• Monitor inventory flow, supply risk and production commitments across all channels.
• Work with factories to keep production on track from WIP to delivery.
• Implement and optimize ERP, PLM, WIP tracking and production management tools.
• Develop dashboards, KPI scorecards and reporting frameworks for leadership visibility.
• Lead, mentor and grow a collaborative, accountable team.

Required profile

• 10+ years leading global production, operations or supply‑chain functions.
• Proven ability to build and scale operational systems and cross‑functional processes.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Exceptional communication and influence with senior leaders and factory partners.
• Experience supporting wholesale, retail and e‑commerce execution.
