Digital Giving Officer – Lead Online Fundraising

About the role

The Digital Giving Officer will join the Leadership Gifts & Development team at West Texas A&M University to design and execute a digital fundraising strategy that elevates the I Am WT brand. This role focuses on creating engaging online experiences for donors and driving revenue through digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage online giving platforms and develop a comprehensive digital solicitation strategy.
• Create email and social‑media content for the I Am WT brand.
• Oversee digital ads and social campaigns supporting annual giving initiatives.
• Analyze performance metrics and recommend data‑driven improvements.
• Develop and execute digital stewardship plans for current donors.
• Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, video conferencing and social media to acquire, retain and upgrade donors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least three years in development, communications, public relations, social media, marketing or sales.
• Strong written and editing abilities with persuasive writing skills.
• Experience interacting with customers, volunteers or employees.
• Proven ability to work with interactive web applications.
