Diesel Maintenance Technician – In‑House Fleet Mechanic

About the role

Costy's Energy Services is seeking a Diesel Maintenance Technician to join its Muncy location. The role involves servicing company tractors and trailers, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting the in‑house fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with all safety procedures and DOT requirements.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on company tractors and trailers.
• Complete service requests promptly and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair tractor/trailer systems, including air, vacuum, water tanks, and electrical components.
• Maintain daily paperwork, safety trainings, and a clean work area.

Required profile

• Must provide own small general tools.
• CDL license preferred but not required.
• Experience operating trucks and forklifts.
• Background in shop maintenance and a clean driving record.

Required skills

• Engine repair knowledge.
• Understanding of truck air systems.
• Vacuum pump operation.
• Water tank maintenance.
• Electrical system troubleshooting.
• Forklift operation.
• General shop maintenance.
