DevOps Engineer

About the role

Closinglock is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its engineering team in Austin. You will work alongside a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers a security‑critical fintech platform handling billions of dollars each month.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure with high availability and performance.
• Develop and evolve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe and frequent deployments across multiple environments.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure reproducibility and auditability.
• Monitor system health, performance and security with tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch and PagerDuty, and respond to incidents promptly.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS), supporting cluster operations and scaling strategies.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve reliability, security and observability of the platform.
