DevOps Engineer (7-month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team in Sylmar, CA for a 7‑month fixed‑term assignment. The role focuses on building reliable CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring smooth deployments in an Azure‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab and Azure DevOps.
• Manage Azure cloud resources and PaaS services, including container orchestration with AKS/Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and support production deployments.
• Conduct security checks within pipelines and maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to integrate REST APIs and other services.
• Provide performance optimization, troubleshooting, and on‑call production support as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Biomedical or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong documentation, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and quick learner.
