Development Operations Associate

About the role

Spark MicroGrants is looking for a highly organized Development Operations Associate to support its Growth Team and CEO. This full‑time position (40 hours/week, with possible reduction for experienced candidates) will help streamline scheduling, travel, and administrative processes for a fast‑moving, global nonprofit.

Key responsibilities

• Manage executive and organizational calendars across multiple time zones, ensuring meetings, travel, and events align with strategic priorities.
• Plan and coordinate international travel, handling flights, visas, accommodations, and itineraries while anticipating and resolving logistical challenges.
• Support fundraising and donor‑partner engagement by maintaining up‑to‑date records and preparing concise organizational updates.
• Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and senior leaders to keep the CEO focused on high‑impact decisions.
• Assist in planning events, gatherings, and conferences, ensuring smooth execution.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and dependable with strong judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to distill information for external sharing while handling sensitive data discreetly.
• Curious about new productivity tools, including AI, and eager to improve operational efficiency.
• Motivated by mission‑driven work and supporting senior leadership.
