Developer 1 – .NET & SQL Server (Hybrid, Atlanta)

About the role

IDR is looking for a Developer 1 to join a top client in Atlanta on a hybrid basis. You will support a legacy government tax application, perform routine maintenance, and deliver small‑scale enhancements while working in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform configuration updates and routine maintenance tasks.
• Develop and implement minor enhancements to existing functionality.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and data issues.
• Support the existing VB.NET codebase and contribute to C# modernization efforts.

Required profile

• Proficiency in C# with a willingness to transition from similar object‑oriented languages.
• Understanding of VB.NET or legacy .NET environments.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, including writing and debugging queries.
• Ability to support production systems in a structured enterprise setting.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
