Design Intern

About the role

Lippincott, a global brand, experience and marketing consultancy within Oliver Wyman, is looking for a Design Intern in New York. You will work with the expert design team on projects in brand identity, across print, digital and interactive experiences. This is a full-time, 16-week internship.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in conceptualization, developing preliminary concepts into refined design solutions
• Work on logo designs, visual systems, guidelines and presentations, alone or in a team
• Support the production and coordination of design audits
• Research background on identity and create mood boards for projects
• Bring brand stories to life through print, digital interaction, animation and motion design

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or an equivalent portfolio of work
• Understanding of how to apply basic design principles to creative work
• Demonstrated creative ability across static, dynamic and interactive media
• Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities and manage time
• Clear verbal and written communication skills

Required skills

• InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (required)
• Motion and interaction design software is preferred
• Motion/film editing software such as After Effects and Cinema 4D, or interaction design software, preferred

The applicable base pay is $30 per hour. Applicants must submit an online portfolio with their application and state their availability.
