Deployment Strategist – USMC

About the role

As a Deployment Strategist, you’ll work with engineers, product, and growth teams to deploy software that tackles the most urgent problems faced by our government customers. Your mission is to synthesize disconnected streams of thought into a clear understanding of end‑user challenges, product needs, user motivations, impact potential, and related problems Code Metal can address.

Key responsibilities

• Go onsite to meet end users, uncover critical questions and biggest pain points.
• Identify relevant features through deep engagement with customer workflows and collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate them in a stable, extensible way.
• Embed with Engineering and Product teams to translate field insights into Code Metal product offerings.
• Build bespoke workflows for new user groups in partnership with customers.
• Lead training sessions to ensure the product meets user needs and achieves wide adoption.
• Become a trusted teammate for customers, drive adoption and maintain satisfaction.
• Build and deliver demos to new and existing customers.
• Scope potential engagements with new customer groups, advocates, growth opportunities, and possible follow‑on funding.

Required profile

• Former operators who are deeply respected by their communities.
• Deep understanding of customers gained from direct experience.
• Strong relationships across relevant US Government organizations.
• Active U.S. security clearance.
