About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute as a Department Supervisor II, overseeing the Neuro Expansion project in a state‑of‑the‑art facility. This evening shift position (2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.) involves leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver top‑quality neurological care.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise caregivers in daily operations and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Approve and schedule paid time off, leave requests, and ensure cross‑coverage.
• Provide leadership, training, orientation, and education to staff.
• Analyze workflow, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process enhancements.
• Develop an effective work team, encourage morale‑building activities, and communicate policies.

Required profile

• Associate’s Degree with two years supervisory experience OR High School Diploma/GED with four years experience.
• Knowledge of supervision, training, development, and public relations practices.
• Availability 24/7 through an issues pager or cell phone.
• Preferred: healthcare experience in a large organization.
• Physical ability to work stationary for extended periods and operate equipment.

Required skills

• Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
• Ability to operate various types of powered material handling equipment.
