Dealer Operations Specialist

About the role

MSX International, a partner to vehicle manufacturers, retailers and mobility organizations for more than 30 years, is hiring a Dealer Operations Specialist in Southfield. The specialist works with dealerships to grow fixed operations profitability and increase customer retention, running their own territory with the support of a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Work with about 30-40 dealers, dealer operators, dealer managers, regional offices and zone teams to achieve common goals.
• Evaluate the dealership's service customer experience using customer data and observations, and help improve it (CSI performance, service lead close rates, etc.).
• Analyze marketing and merchandising plans, including the dealership's digital presence, against OEM brand direction and market trends.
• Help dealers achieve sales objectives for the district and grow fixed operations and the OEM Parts program.
• Prepare each remote standardized dealer contact by identifying priorities, reviewing reports and presenting an agenda covering sales, retention and revenue.

Required profile

• Confident communicator able to build rapport and listen actively.
• Experience delivering data-driven presentations to dealership management and previous customer service experience.
• Analytical mindset, creative problem solver and natural teacher.
• Able to multi-task in a busy environment and work independently and with a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams).
• Technology savvy, able to hold productive remote meetings.
