Dealer Commercial Services Senior Relationship Manager - South Mid Atlantic

About the role

Santander’s Dealer Commercial Services (DCS) division is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to lead business development and client management across the South Mid‑Atlantic region. You will work with automotive dealers, providing integrated capital and banking solutions such as floorplan financing, syndicated lending, commercial real‑estate loans, treasury, and merchant services.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new commercial automotive clients and grow existing dealer relationships.
• Discuss customer needs, resolve issues, and coordinate meetings with internal functional teams.
• Represent Santander at civic and community events to enhance brand visibility.
• Assist in the implementation of a company‑wide business development call program.
• Pre‑qualify clients, identify cross‑sell opportunities, and develop strategic plans for market growth.
• Maintain detailed call logs, reports, and documentation for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in commercial automotive financial services, including floorplan, capital loan, and real‑estate lending.
• Proven ability to generate new business and manage long‑term client relationships.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with strategic partners.
