Day Shift Breakfast Cook

About the role

The Renaissance Dallas Hotel is seeking a dedicated Breakfast Cook for the early‑morning shift. Starting at 4:30 am, you will join a busy kitchen team that serves guests before they begin their day.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters.
• Pull frozen items for thawing, maintain food logs and ensure proper portioning and garnish.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, communicate needs during peak periods, and inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials.
• Assist with menu specials communication to Food & Beverage service staff.
• Follow all safety, security and sanitation policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of related culinary experience.
• Technical, trade or vocational school education in culinary arts.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb unassisted.
