Data Entry Operator II - Night Shift

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Data Entry Operator II to support its ATF program. This is a night shift position, working 3pm to 11:30pm. The operator enters information received from a variety of sources, including paper, media, fax and telephone, using keyboard-controlled devices such as a computer, key-operated magnetic tape or disc encoder.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently enter forms and reports assigned by area, and other forms as directed by the supervisor
• Prepare, label and file records in preparation for document imaging
• Identify and submit potential problems or issues to the appropriate level of management

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, and three months in the current position
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow policies and procedures
• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management and teamwork
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform frequent repetitive motions
• US citizenship required to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization
• Telephonic customer service skills preferred

Required skills

• Typing speed of at least 40 wpm
• Basic computer skills, including web browsers and basic Microsoft Office
• Ability to interpret and select items from documented sources
