About the role
Join Percival Engineering in Columbia, MD as a Cyber (CNO) Software Developer. You will work on cutting‑edge cyber capability tools, from vulnerability research to custom software development, supporting the protection of critical national assets.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain portable software for Windows and Unix environments, including multi‑threaded and inter‑process communication applications.
- Produce documentation, participate in design and code reviews, and ensure software readiness for deployment.
- Support the full software lifecycle, from concept through customer support, working independently or within small teams.
Required profile
- U.S. citizenship with a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or at least four years of technical experience.
- Minimum one year of programming experience in Assembly, C, C#, or C++.
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of operating system internals and development environments.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python (experience with Ruby is a plus).
- Understanding of IPv4 protocol and networking concepts.
- Experience writing portable code for multiple OSes and architectures.
