CW Research Coordinator

About the role

The CW Research Coordinator provides essential administrative support to faculty within the CW Pediatric Pulmonary Administration department at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This onsite position ensures smooth operation of meetings, travel, and financial processes, contributing to the department’s research and clinical activities.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule faculty meetings, reserve rooms, arrange catering, and prepare meeting documentation.
• Take transcription or minutes and maintain up‑to‑date faculty calendars reflecting clinical and research schedules.
• Process reimbursements, purchase orders, and travel requests using SAP or Workday systems.
• Reconcile physician e‑fund accounts and monthly travel expenses charged to the Visa T‑Card, reporting discrepancies.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and related purchases directly with faculty.

Required profile

• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or hold an approved medical/religious exemption.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple calendars and deadlines.
• Attention to detail for financial reconciliation and documentation.
