CVD PM Technician (MST) - Day 2 Shift

About the role

NXP is hiring a CVD PM Technician (MST) for its Austin facility, working the day 2 shift. The role covers preventive maintenance and support of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including subassembly rebuilding and consumable supply.

Key responsibilities

• Rebuild and clean subassemblies for semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and support subfab equipment
• Handle chemicals and ensure an adequate supply of consumables for rebuilding subassemblies

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of previous equipment maintenance and/or parts management; 3-5 years of wafer fab experience preferred, with an emphasis on production equipment
• Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Detail-oriented, able to create and follow written procedures
• Understanding of electronic, mechanical and vacuum systems
• Knowledge of 5S principles and experience maintaining a 5S organization in maintenance or parts management

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking
• Strong verbal and written communication and professional interaction in a fast-paced production environment
