About the role

NXP is hiring a CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polishing) Equipment Maintenance Technician in a high-volume semiconductor wafer manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment so that manufacturing process yield and productivity goals are met.

Required profile

Minimum of 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
A minimum of 7 years of NXP (or affiliate) experience may qualify in lieu of a degree.
Ability to read schematics and complex drawings and diagrams.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.

Required skills

Experience with advanced electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair and operation of Semiconductor Chemical Mechanical Polishing equipment.
Familiarity with AMAT MIRRA, DNS AS2000 and ONTRACK SCRUBBER equipment.
