Customer Service Representative - Part Time

About the role

Circle K is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative for its Store 2743030 in Butler, Pennsylvania. The position covers customer service, cash register operations, basic merchandising and housekeeping, with days and evenings shifts available.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service: greet customers, give assistance and suggestions, and ring up all sales accurately on the cash register.
• Operate multi-function equipment such as the fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine and telecom transactions.
• Maintain the store's cleanliness and equipment, inspect for safety issues and notify the Store Manager of failures or supply needs.
• Complete build-to orders, receive and verify vendor deliveries, keep stock rotated and place advertising and pricing signage.
• Control merchandise, cash and inventory, keep accurate records, and report discrepancies, incidents and unsafe situations to the Store Manager.
• Keep shift and timekeeping paperwork accurate, attend job-related meetings and perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to arrive on time and work as scheduled, with regular onsite attendance.
• Ability to perform the physical demands, including lifting up to 30 pounds overhead and 50 pounds to waist, standing and walking for a full shift, and occasional exposure to cold temperatures and noise.

Required skills

• Ability to operate cash registers, scanners, hot/cold beverage dispensers and other machines.
• Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations preferred.

Hiring range: $15.00 to $15.50.
