Customer Service and Operations Manager

About the role

Wonder Math is seeking a Customer Service and Operations Manager to own and manage key operational functions across the business. Reporting directly to the founder, you will drive operational decision‑making, process improvement, and execution for teacher operations, parent experience, enrollment, and program delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate teacher hiring, screening, onboarding, training and quarterly development.
• Maintain teaching quality by reviewing class feedback and aligning curriculum with teachers.
• Build and manage class schedules, placements and free‑trial sessions, ensuring seamless class execution.
• Own the lead follow‑up pipeline: conduct outreach calls, schedule reminders and close enrollment loops.
• Respond promptly to parent communications, handle scheduling changes, and proactively improve engagement.
• Partner with leadership to develop and implement new processes, surface insights, and drive operational excellence.
• Handle day‑to‑day operational tasks such as purchasing and ad‑hoc responsibilities.

Required profile

• Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Excellent follow‑through and ability to run tight systems independently.
• Comfortable making phone calls, handling customer interactions and closing loops.
• Self‑starter who thrives without constant direction.
