Full‑time Elementary Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic full‑time Elementary Teacher to join Clara Bolen Elementary. The successful candidate will create a positive, engaging learning environment that supports student growth and development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with state standards and diverse student needs.
• Foster a respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages a love of learning.
• Assess student progress through tests, projects, and observations.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about performance and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school‑wide initiatives.
• Participate in professional development to stay current with educational trends.
• Manage classroom behavior and implement effective discipline strategies.
• Provide individualized support for varied abilities and learning styles.
• Organize and take part in school events, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid state teaching certification.
• Strong knowledge of child development and effective teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.
• Organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple tasks.
• Commitment to an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
• Previous elementary teaching experience preferred but not required.
