Counterintelligence Investigations Instructor

About the role

CACI is seeking an experienced Advanced CI Investigations Course (ACIIC) Instructor for its JCITA program, which trains Counterintelligence agents to protect the United States against espionage, terrorism, insider threats and sophisticated foreign intelligence activities. The instructor uses operational expertise to deliver advanced instruction that prepares agents for complex investigations. The position is full time, based in Quantico, with up to 10% local travel, and requires a minimum TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instruction for the ACIIC, preparing agents for complex counterintelligence investigations.
• Plan, develop and run training and certification programs so agents can independently conduct full-scope investigations, including assessing links to Foreign Intelligence Entities and choosing appropriate investigative actions.
• Teach investigative strategies across the full range of CI functions, in line with DoD 5240 series guidance.
• Instruct on CI investigative tools, legal authorities and procedures under DoD Manual 5240.01 and FISA, and on affidavits and evidence.
• Run classroom instruction and evaluate students during practical field exercises; days often exceed eight hours and may include weekends.
• Use blended learning, including eLearning, lectures, case studies, role-playing and practical demonstrations.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, or the ability to obtain one.
• At least five years of experience conducting full-scope CI investigations.
• Previous experience as a senior CI Investigator covering the full investigative cycle.
• Graduate of an accredited CI Special Agent credentialing school.
• Graduate of the JCITA NSIC, the ACIIC, the Armed Forces Counterintelligence Training Center, or an equivalent Intelligence Community school.
