Corporate Development Associate – Asset & Wealth Management

About the role

Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management is seeking a highly‑motivated Analyst/Associate to join its Corporate Development team in New York. You will work on high‑visibility strategic initiatives, supporting senior leadership in driving external growth through M&A, commercial partnerships, and business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Support the full M&A lifecycle: identify gaps, screen targets, build strategic cases, create financial models, perform valuations, and assist with integration.
• Structure and evaluate commercial partnership opportunities, including minority equity investments.
• Conduct independent research and analysis to inform new market entry, product development, and emerging industry trends.
• Prepare presentations and materials for senior divisional stakeholders, the Executive Office, and the Board of Directors.
