About the role
Cozen O’Connor is seeking an attorney with extensive private equity and private real estate investment fund formation experience to join the Corporate Practice Group in the Philadelphia or New York office.
Required profile
- At least seven years of experience assisting clients in fund formation, private placements, and securities regulation, including the Securities Act of 1933, Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and Investment Company Act of 1940.
- Represented venture capitalists, private equity firms, hedge fund managers, and family offices in a range of transactions.
- Excellent academic credentials and admission to the relevant state bar.
- Experience with investment fund structuring, fund terms, investor negotiations, and day‑to‑day fund operations is preferred.
