Coordinator II – Inflammation and Immunity

About the role

The Coordinator II supports the Inflammation and Immunity research department at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. This full‑time position works weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and ensures smooth operation of seminars, travel logistics, and departmental projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the departmental seminar series, including travel arrangements, itineraries, meeting schedules, and escorting visiting speakers.
• Manage travel reimbursements and logistics for department caregivers.
• Maintain office supplies, book conference rooms, and submit service requests.
• Oversee project activities, distribute reports, facilitate analyses, and maintain resource databases.
• Collect, maintain, and report departmental information such as patient data, budgets, PTO, and schedules.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least three years of experience coordinating management functions and special projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a stationary position for extended periods and travel within the hospital system.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using spreadsheets, word processing, and database software.
