Controller – Financial Operations & Analysis

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead day‑to‑day financial operations for a fast‑growing, digitally native lifestyle brand. You will combine accounting execution with strategic financial planning to support rapid expansion and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end financial processes, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, vendor payments, expense tracking and e‑commerce reconciliations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close activities in partnership with external accountants and ensure accurate financial statements.
• Produce and analyse P&L, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow reports, monitoring gross margin, discounts, returns and vendor payouts.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and scenario‑planning to inform growth, marketing and operational decisions.
• Manage cash flow and working capital, maintaining rolling forecasts and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance, maintain financial systems and controls, and drive continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience in e‑commerce, marketplace or consumer‑facing businesses is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a process‑oriented mindset.
