Controller – Finance Leadership

About the role

The Controller serves as the senior accounting executive and strategic partner to the Chief Financial Officer. This position leads all accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the integrity of financial records and supporting the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting organization, covering revenue, general ledger, and operational accounting functions.
• Establish performance standards, close calendars, review cadences, and prioritize workflow.
• Act as primary liaison with external auditors, managing audit deliverables, schedules, and communications.
• Manage relationships with third‑party platforms, tax compliance tools, banking institutions, and financial system vendors.
• Provide coaching, technical guidance, and decision‑making support across the accounting team.
• Oversee preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and relevant regulations.
• Maintain audit readiness, review journal entries, reconciliations, and technical accounting memos.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies for revenue, payouts, accruals, close, and internal controls.

Required profile

• Senior accounting executive with deep technical accounting expertise.
• Strategic partner to the CFO, capable of influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and leadership capability.
• Experience managing audit processes and regulatory compliance.
