Contractor Sales Representative - Ohio

About the role

IKO Industries Ltd., a Canadian-owned manufacturer of roofing and building materials, is looking for a Contractor Sales Representative based in the Greater Cleveland area. The role develops and grows IKO sales with distribution customers, including roofing contractors, remodelers, builders and architects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop relationships and grow sales with customers in the territory
• Frequently contact roofing contractors, remodelers, builders and architects to drive demand
• Present products to qualified end users on a weekly basis
• Manage territory pricing in competitive situations and manage customer accounts, including accounts receivable balances and deductions
• Perform product knowledge training sessions with customers
• Submit weekly intelligence reports on time
• Organize and execute a business plan to meet territory sales goals and customer needs
• Use approved sales and marketing tools within budget

Required profile

• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a strong asset
• Willingness to consider relocation for future opportunities
• Attention to detail, professional attitude and commitment to task completion
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Required skills

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
