Continuous Improvement Leader

About the role

Moog’s Space & Defense group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives across manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, you will work onsite in Blacksburg, VA, supporting the company’s mission to equip those who defend freedom and advance space exploration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and apply Lean Six Sigma principles to improve business and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate and facilitate improvement activities and Lean events.
• Translate strategic goals into actionable Lean Six Sigma plans.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities, execute plans, and achieve goals.
• Train staff and support continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience using continuous improvement tools.
• Lean Six Sigma experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Proven ability to use statistical evaluation techniques, process capability analysis, and performance metrics.
