Production Coach (Supervisor)

About the role

Moog is seeking a Production Coach to lead a manufacturing team in Blacksburg, VA. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the Space & Defense group, supporting critical aerospace and defense programs.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure use of safety devices, personal protective equipment, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Motivate and lead employees in a structured team atmosphere, fostering collaboration.
• Interview, recommend hiring decisions, promotions, disciplinary actions, and separations.
• Lead problem‑solving activities and root‑cause corrective actions across cross‑functional teams.
• Develop, track, and communicate production goals, capacity analysis, and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Associate degree with 3 years relevant experience, or high school diploma with 7 years relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or direct supervisory experience.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and quality‑control standards.
