About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Contingent Worker to support a summer 2026 research project under the supervision of Dr. Mike Thomsen. This non‑academic affiliate position is scheduled for the day shift and will involve direct participation in the project’s activities.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with day‑to‑day tasks related to the research project, including data collection and entry.
- Support laboratory or field activities as directed by the project lead.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, results, and observations.
- Participate in regular project meetings and contribute to progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with university safety and vaccination policies.
Required profile
- Pre‑selected candidate approved for the position.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption on file with Student & Employee Health Services.
- Availability to work the day shift during the summer of 2026.
