Construction Sr. Project Manager

About the role

A self‑driven strategic leader who delivers exceptional client experiences and drives impactful results across all phases of construction projects. As a Senior Manager you will oversee design, construction, permitting, occupancy, quality control, scheduling, closeout and budget management while mentoring a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic project leadership across design, construction, permitting, occupancy and closeout phases.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of 5‑10 members, overseeing staffing, performance evaluations and resource allocation.
• Develop and execute client‑focused communication strategies to ensure transparency and high satisfaction.
• Monitor project KPIs, manage budgets, track expenditures and drive financial performance.
• Facilitate high‑impact meetings with stakeholders, including executives, designers, contractors and vendors.
• Oversee procurement, documentation and workflow optimization to improve efficiency and sustainability.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in construction project management, handling multiple large‑scale programs simultaneously.
• Proven people leadership, client engagement and analytical decision‑making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to grow project portfolios and generate $1M‑$3M annual revenue.
• Willingness to travel throughout Massachusetts with 25‑50% on‑site presence, including evenings and public hearings.
• Personal attributes: proactive, adaptable, collaborative, client‑focused and a strong coach for junior staff.
