Construction Robotics Field Lead

About the role

Rinvio is seeking a Construction Robotics Field Lead to provide hands‑on support for autonomous equipment on construction and infrastructure sites across the United States. The role involves heavy weekly travel and requires living within 30 miles of a major airport.

Key responsibilities

• Lead practical field support for robotic and autonomous equipment on active construction projects.
• Coordinate with construction crews, operators, site contacts, and technical support teams.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and adjust equipment, sensors, electronics, and field hardware.
• Identify issues early, document them clearly, and communicate field priorities to the appropriate parties.
• Support testing, calibration, repairs, component installation, and preventative maintenance.
• Help improve field operating procedures, job‑site readiness, and safe deployment practices.

Required profile

• Background in construction, heavy equipment, machinery, field service, industrial maintenance, or robotics/autonomous equipment.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience repairing, maintaining, operating, or supporting heavy equipment or complex machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools, sensors, electronics, diagnostics, and field troubleshooting.
• Professional communication skills with operators, construction teams, customers, and technical support.
• Willingness to travel weekly and work in changing outdoor/construction job‑site conditions.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to lift up to 60 lb.
