Construction Project Manager for Healthcare Facilities

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to act as the owner’s representative on healthcare capital projects. The role will guide projects from early planning through occupancy, ensuring alignment with clinical workflows, patient safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project execution from programming through post‑occupancy evaluation, coordinating architects, engineers, contractors and trade partners.
• Manage budgets, cash‑flow forecasts, schedules, change orders, RFIs and submittals while monitoring quality, risk and compliance.
• Ensure design documents meet constructability, infection‑control, and healthcare‑code standards (FGI, Joint Commission, CMS, etc.).
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, prepare status reports, and resolve issues with hospital leadership, clinicians and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Oversee commissioning, systems testing, owner training, and delivery of as‑built documents and warranties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in healthcare construction or capital project management, preferably as an owner’s representative.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, codes and accreditation standards.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, CHC or LEED AP are preferred.
