Construction Manager for Advanced Nuclear Manufacturing Facility

About the role

Radiant is building a first‑of‑kind advanced nuclear manufacturing facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The Construction Manager will act as the onsite decision‑maker, translating aggressive schedules and evolving designs into built outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite authority representing ownership, maintaining daily field presence and driving execution across general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Hold contractors accountable to schedule, manpower, sequencing, and quality commitments, identifying and resolving issues early to avoid cost or delay.
• Own day‑to‑day schedule awareness, look‑ahead planning, and creative problem‑solving to protect critical path activities.
• Interface with local authorities, inspectors, and internal engineering, EHS, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment between design intent and field execution.
• Support transition to operations by driving facility turnover, commissioning, and startup readiness.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in construction management, owner’s representation, or capital project execution for industrial/manufacturing facilities.
• Proven success in onsite, field‑driven roles with direct general contractor oversight and the ability to make real‑time decisions in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments.
