Community Relations Specialist

About the role

The Community Relations Specialist at Centene will lead initiatives that drive membership and enrollment across the metro Atlanta area. This role blends marketing, outreach, and event coordination to support the health of our 28 million members.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute community events such as health fairs, training sessions, and field marketing activities.
• Generate leads and nurture relationships with brokers, providers, vendors, and community partners.
• Create and deliver presentations for sales, broker training, member retention, and outreach programs.
• Act as the department liaison for market materials, collateral rollouts, inventory, and reporting.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure successful market execution and achieve enrollment targets.
• Research and assess new market and business opportunities, including grassroots lead generation and provider co‑op events.
• Maintain business relationships that expand enrollment opportunities and support cross‑over enrollment strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales or marketing experience, preferably with government‑related health products.
• Health insurance or managed‑care experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 80% within the assigned territory.
• Driver’s license may be required; Life and Health license can be obtained within 90 days if needed.
