Community Media Engagement Specialist & Driver (Part-Time)

About the role

The ATL Community Media Engagement Specialist / Driver supports Atlanta Technical College’s Communications, Marketing & Public Relations division by promoting ATL Community Media across the city. Working part‑time, you will operate a promotional mini‑bus, represent the station at events, and help expand community participation in media and storytelling initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and operate the station’s promotional mini‑bus for outreach activities, community events and public appearances.
• Represent ATL Community Media at festivals, conferences, workshops, school programs and neighborhood meetings.
• Promote station programming, training opportunities, volunteer programs and community‑access services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, nonprofits, educational institutions and government agencies.
• Coordinate outreach events, set up and break down displays, and track attendance and participation metrics.

Required profile

• Knowledge of community outreach, engagement practices and public relations.
• Ability to safely operate and transport the promotional vehicle and outreach equipment.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and event‑coordination skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities for diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Valid Georgia Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in good standing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social‑media platforms and digital communication tools.
