Community Manager – North Shore Chicago

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager for its North Shore portfolio in Chicago. The role oversees daily operations of an assigned property, leading the team to meet financial and operational goals while ensuring compliance with relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage property budgets by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, process deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Control expenditures within approved budget and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
• Promote resident satisfaction and ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multifamily property operations.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and lease administration.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing, ADA, and related regulatory requirements.
