Community Manager – Lease‑Up Property

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations of a new lease‑up property in Inglewood. You will oversee a team, manage resident relations, and ensure the property meets its financial and operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the property budget, analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and code expenses to the appropriate accounts.
• Maintain petty‑cash controls and stay within approved budget limits.
• Manage the lease‑enforcement process, including resident applications, discounts, and renewals.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of Community Manager experience, preferably in lease‑up environments.
• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory standards for multifamily housing.
• Proven financial and operational acumen, with ability to meet revenue targets.
• Effective team leadership and day‑to‑day operational management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management systems such as Yardi.
• Experience using CRM tools for resident and leasing management.
