Community Manager (Lease-Up) for Active Adult Community

About the role

The Community Manager leads daily operations of an Active Adult community, ensuring exceptional resident experiences, strong financial performance, and regulatory compliance. This role serves as the primary liaison between ownership, residents, and the onsite team.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident concerns, resolve disputes, and maintain high satisfaction.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, rent collection, and expense control to meet NOI targets.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of onsite staff.
• Supervise leasing activities, conduct tours, and achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Manage vendor contracts, capital projects, and maintenance operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and leadership abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and required state/local certifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite and database management tools.
