Community Manager – Lakewood

About the role

This role manages the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned property, overseeing team members, daily activities and resources to meet budgeted financial and operational goals while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant housing laws.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in due‑diligence and takeover processes, including file audits, unit inspections and onboarding.
• Coach and train onsite team members, provide remedial training and suggest development options.
• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements and ensure rent collection and timely deposits.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates and manage coding to the chart of accounts.
• Oversee lease enforcement, approve applications, conduct inspections and manage resident fees.
• Analyze market trends, implement leasing strategies and promote resident satisfaction.
• Maintain online presence, monitor reputation sites and support social‑media initiatives.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness and appearance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing and customer‑service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution and customer‑service skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and capable of working independently and as a leader.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Competence in internet navigation, word processing, spreadsheet and database management programs.
• Valid driver’s license for on‑site vehicle operation.
