Community Manager

About the role

We are a purpose‑driven creative shop seeking a Community Manager to build and nurture a regulated‑sector community from the ground up. Reporting to the Strategy Director, you will blend storytelling with strict compliance to position the brand as a cultural leader while safeguarding data privacy and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a large online community (1,000+ members), set the tone, and foster collaboration.
• Moderate daily interactions, respond to questions, and manage escalations in line with platform guidelines.
• Identify trending topics, create discussion threads, and run weekly content challenges.
• Review and approve all community messaging, user‑generated content, and campaigns for regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, FINRA).
• Monitor platforms for compliance breaches, misinformation, or liability risks and execute rapid mitigation.
• Serve as liaison between the brand, client teams, and legal/compliance partners, translating business goals into safe engagement strategies.
• Develop educational materials, house rules, and clear community guidelines.
• Design and execute long‑term programs such as advisory boards or advocacy groups.

Required profile

• Experience managing communities in highly regulated sectors such as healthcare, finance, or legal tech.
• Strong understanding of data‑privacy regulations and disclosure requirements.
• Charismatic on‑camera presence with the ability to tell compelling brand stories.
• Comfortable balancing brand advocacy with risk management.
