About the role
The Community Manager for Haven on Long Grove will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of this multifamily property, leading the on‑site team and ensuring financial and operational targets are met while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily property activities, team members, and resources to achieve budgeted financial and operational goals.
- Provide input on budget development by analyzing financial statements, market data and operational reports.
- Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, process bank deposits and prepare monthly financial status reports.
- Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
- Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash fund.
- Oversee lease enforcement: approve applications, discounts, renewals, conduct inspections, issue notices, process evictions and collect late fees.
- Analyze market and economic trends to develop short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies that drive occupancy and revenue.
- Promote resident satisfaction through responsive service and community initiatives.
Required profile
- Experience managing day‑to‑day operations of a multifamily property.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and related regulations.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and market data to inform budgeting and leasing decisions.
