Maintenance Supervisor – Retreat at Fitzsimons

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the Retreat at Fitzsimons community in Aurora remains safe, functional, and visually appealing. Reporting to the Community Manager, you will lead both routine and emergency maintenance activities across apartments, common areas, and exterior grounds.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and uphold cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, amenities, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative‑maintenance tasks as defined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in multi‑unit residential settings.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot mechanical and technical problems and to prioritize work orders.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing inventories, schedules, and vendor relationships.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to building codes and company policies.
