About the role
Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of an assigned multifamily property in the Fort Lee, New Jersey area. You will lead the on‑site team, ensure compliance with company policies and housing regulations, and drive financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing and managing the property budget by reviewing financial statements and market data.
- Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
- Manage lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of fees.
- Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
- Promote resident satisfaction through effective communication and community initiatives.
Required profile
- Experience in property or community management within multifamily housing.
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
- Ability to analyze financial data and make budgetary decisions.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
