About the role
The Community Manager will oversee daily operations of the Verano Townhomes property in Phoenix, leading the on‑site team to meet financial and operational goals while ensuring compliance with all housing regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day property operations, including team supervision and resource allocation.
- Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and ensure timely posting of fees.
- Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting.
- Oversee lease enforcement: approve applications, renewals, conduct inspections, issue notices, and manage evictions and late fees.
- Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
- Promote resident satisfaction through responsive service and community initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience in property or community management within multi‑family housing.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
- Ability to interpret financial data and manage budgets effectively.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
